Although I would say most all of Forever Girl would be considered Young Adult, there is a scene near the end that may be a little unsuitable for younger readers, so be forewarned :) What is Forever Girl, you ask? Forever Girl is an exceptionally written paranormal romance by Rebecca Hamilton. Everything about this book intrigued me. Witches, vampires, strigoi, shapeshifters. A little something for everyone. Hamilton’s writing style is addictive. The scenes in the story quite literally jumped out of the pages. There were various points in the book where my heart did beat a little faster with anticipation. Hamilton has a way of drawing out a suspenseful scene where there is just no way that anyone can stop reading. Not only are her suspense writing skills top notch, but her romance scenes were equally well written. I pretty much found myself needing to keep reading this book so that I could find out the answers to the little questions floating around in my head! Not only does Hamilton introduce us to a strong and clever leading lady, Sophia Parson, but she also gives us …Charles *sigh* Charles just oozes sex appeal. The chemistry between Sophia and Charles is just as addictive as the story itself! Not only is this a truly romantic story, but it is also packed with a lot of action. Fast paced action in a world of vampires made Forever Girl impossible to put down. Add in a cast of supporting characters, both good and bad, that readers will fall in love with, and you’ve got a recipe for an unforgettable paranormal romance that will leave readers yearning for more.
